Stay & Play
**WE APOLOGISE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ABLE TO RUN OUR STAY & PLAY. THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN, THEIR FAMILIES AND OUR STAFF ARE OUR PRIMARY CONCERN. WE REVIEW COVID-SAFE OPERATION OF THESE SESSIONS ON AN ONGOING BASIS**
Blues Pre-School Stay and Play Group runs on Thursdays, from 1 - 2:30pm (term time).
Stay and Play sessions are open to all parents and carers with children aged from birth to nursery age and are particularly helpful as a gentle introduction to Blues Pre-School for young children who intend to join our pre-school when they are older. The session is currently run by our Deputy Manager (qualified to level 3 and first aider) who is available to answer any questions parents or carers may have. Parents and Carers stay with their children throughout the session. Younger or older siblings may also be brought along to the session.
The session is very informal so parents and carers can enjoy a coffee and chat whilst the children play. The session is devoted to free play, allowing children to become familiar with the toys and activities that will be on offer if they join the main sessions. These include small world and construction toys, the home corner, sand, paint, water, play dough and junk modelling. Whenever the weather permits the session will include time in our secure garden.
During the session children are invited to enjoy a drink and a light snack. Hot or cold drinks are also provided for parents and carers.
