Stay and Play Sessions

Stay and Play sessions take place on Thursday afternoons. The sessions are intended to provide a gentle introduction to Blues Pre-School for younger children. Parents and Carers stay with their children throughout the session. Younger siblings may also be brought along to the session if necessary.

Activities

The session is entirely devoted to free play allowing children to become familiar with the toys and activities that will be on offer if they join the main sessions. These include puzzles and construction toys, the home corner, sand or water, floor toys and creative activities such as playdough, painting and junk modelling. Whenever the weather permits the session will include time in our secure garden.

Refreshments

Halfway through the session children are invited to gather round the table for a drink and a light snack. Hot or cold drinks are also provided for parents and carers.

Times and Costs

Stay and Play runs every Thursday in term time from 1.15 until 2.45pm and costs £3.00 per child per session. Please contact us to check on the availability of places.
